River Days 2009

August 21st, 22nd and 23rd!

Welcome to Riverdays 2009! Here you will find information about New Richmond Riverdays Festival; a village

tradition for over 35 years!  For three consecutive days in August, New Richmond on the Ohio welcomes locals and

visitors in an annual celebration of life on the river.  During Riverdays you can stroll along Front Street and enjoy a

breathtaking view of the Ohio River and the rolling hills of Kentucky while stopping to browse vendor booths.

  Local and visiting vendors offer a unique selection of arts, crafts, jewelry and specialized services.  (For

Indulge in Italian Sausages, Pulled Pork, Uncle Zorba's Greek Cuisines, Kettle Corn, Funnel Cakes, Fresh

Lemonade, Beer and other refreshing treats as you make your way through town.

Midway Carnival has joined in the celebration, with Murray Brothers, Inc. providing a variety of amusement rides,

concessions and games for adults and children of all ages.  If you're at least 18 years old and you like a game of

chance, be sure to check out the gambling booths for an exciting time playing Big Six, 5 Card Stud, Beat the Dealer

and more!

New Richmond Riverdays offers live entertainment all weekend long.

  Whether you prefer Rock-N-Roll, Country, or Classic Rock, Riverdays

Entertainment offers a variety of musicians guaranteed to please everyone's

The Cardboard Boat Regatta & Fire/EMS Auxiliary Car Show.

New Richmond on the Ohio is home to the annual cardboard boat races and the World's Only Cardboard Boat

Museum.  Don't miss out on the opportunity to watch contestants paddle (and sink) their hand-crafted boats down

the Ohio River on Saturday August 22nd beginning at 1:00pm.  To learn more about New Richmond Riverdays

Take a step back to the past at the Fire/EMS Auxiliary Car Show on Sunday,

August 23rd from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.  Prizes will be awarded at 5:00pm for the following

categories: Top 10 Cars, Top 10 Motorcycles & People's Choice. (Arrive early for your

Show your skills at the 2009 Riverdays Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, August 23rd at 2:00 pm. First and Second

Place teams split the prize money! Don't miss the fun at the 2009 New Richmond Riverdays - The festival will also

include a firework show, petting zoo and a mini-tractor pull. We hope to see you there!
